MY DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY APPROACH
I take an unobtrusive, documentary approach to wedding photography, focusing on real moments as they naturally unfold. Rather than directing your day or creating staged scenes, I blend in quietly and anticipate the small, meaningful interactions – the laughter, the nerves, the hugs and the in-between moments that often pass unnoticed.

Documentary doesn't mean hands off, I don’t simply stand in the corner pressing a button. When it’s genuinely helpful, I offer gentle guidance and simple prompts – especially during couple time – to help you feel relaxed and comfortable, without pulling you away from what’s really happening. The aim is always to keep things natural and effortless, while still making sure you look and feel your best.
Most of the couples I work with tell me they feel awkward in front of a camera, which is exactly why this approach works so well. You won’t be asked to perform or pose throughout the day. Instead, I create a calm, friendly environment where you can be yourselves, allowing me to tell the true story of your wedding in an honest, natural and fun way – wherever in the UK you choose to celebrate.
