What is wedding photography?
Wedding photography focuses on capturing still, high-quality images, often with a focus on artistic composition, every photographer has their own style. The most common styles are:
Traditional- This style emphasizes posed portraits, group photos, and capturing key moments with a focus on formal and classic shots. It's often characterized by clear, well-lit images with a focus on the traditional aspects of the wedding day.
Photojournalistic/Documentary- This style focuses on capturing the day as it unfolds naturally, without staged poses or direction. The photographer acts as a storyteller, documenting candid moments and genuine emotions.
Candid- A style that focuses on capturing natural, unposed moments throughout the day, highlighting genuine interactions and emotions.
There are many more styles (which we will discuss in another blog).
A wedding photographer is responsible for capturing high-quality, professional images that will be edited and delivered as a wedding album or digital gallery.

A content creator is different from traditional videographer, it's less about a polished, timeless film, and more about real-time moments that can be shared on social media within hours or days. These are the clips you'll see on Instagram Stories or TikTok: your best friends hyping you up, the first time you see each other, emotional hugs, and chaotic dance floor moments.
